Bhaag Milkha Bhaag: Short Review

bhaag milkha bhaag is thorough disappointment considering the powerful content its story line has. the movie makers have fared fairly ordinary as far as presenting, pacing and directing is concerned.
in recent times, there have been movies on sports, but when you think of gripping plot of chak de india and quality performance of irfaan in pan singh tomar, farhaan akhtar goes abegging. yograj singh, father of famous cricketer yuvraj singh, shares quite a bit of screen space with him but fails to make an impact. movie acting and real life coaching is nowhere close surely.
in many scenes, the background images look unreal. background score doesn’t shake up anything inside you.
apart from a few really good scenes — mind you they come in spurts — and obviously, the story line, there is little in the movie to make it a 5/5 movie.

but alas, if one is a sports lover, you will anyway watch the movie to appreciate it or call it ordinary. so, go for it, keeping a check on your expectations of getting a truly wonderful/masterpiece 3hr movie — that, if you ask me, will make the movie experience completely different.
